Touch base on Fulfillment Worldwide

Hello Hikers
Here's a quick update on the status of PARKS's hike around the world based on the latest info we have from our fulfillment partners. Note - all timelines below are subject to each fulfillment partner
Canada - We locked in a plan with QML late last week and will be shipping directly from the US to Canadian. You should receive tracking numbers on 10/2. These shipments will still be customs friendly. For those interested, we are freighting the games from Florida to Canada. After clearing customs, they will be handing those packages off to FedEx. They will be delivering this via their normal parcel process. Note - If you listed a PO Box as your shipping address, QML will be contacting you to work out an alternate shipping address.
EU/UK - Our EU fulfillment partner, Meeple Logistics, hit some delays with fulfilling the project ahead of PARKS. They are now working through PARKS orders, including orders with playing cards. We have told them our expectation is to have all orders shipped by Tuesday October 1st.
AUS - Aetherworks has shipped out orders that did not include playing cards. They are scheduled to receive playing cards Tuesday and plan to start fulfilling the remaining orders of PARKS right away. We expect them to complete shipping by Monday the 30th.
Asia - VFI is scheduled to receive their playing card shipment on Thursday. They plan to start shipping out all remaining PARKS orders right away once they receive them. Mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan should see tracking numbers by 10/7. Our Asian countries will see their orders 14-45 days after the 7th. Backers can check the following Facebook accounts for their country's updates: Indonesia (Monopolis), Japan (Saikorodo), Philippines (Gaming Library), Singapore (Team Board Game), South Korea (BoardM), and Thailand (Battlefield).
ROTW - For backers in the rest of the world, all of these packages have shipped. If you have not received a tracking number for your package, please reach out to [email protected].
US - The last batch of US orders went out today. Those were fulfilled by a separate company who we've found is slow to send tracking numbers, so you might get your game before your tracking number. Note, this company was only used for retail versions of the game. If your order included a Kickstarter version of the game and you have not received your package or a tracking number, please email [email protected].
Zion Postcard Print (Kickstarter Edition)
If you received the Zion postcard-sized print from Dan McCarthy in your Kickstarter Edition of PARKS, we goofed on his bio! We want to provide you with the correct info for Dan below. His website and Instagram handle are still correct, and we hope you'll follow his incredible talent there!
Dan McCarthy lives and works out of his home studio in East Falmouth, MA. He graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts with a concentration in printmaking and illustration. Dan has spent over 15 years creating beautiful art prints and gig posters.

Fulfillment Updates by Region
US - Fulfillment is under way. Orders containing playing cards will start shipping out by the end of this week. We expect all US orders to be shipped out by the end of next week. If you do not have a tracking number by then, please email [email protected].
EU/UK - PARKS has been queued up and is next in line to be fulfilled at Meeple Logistics. Should start the end of this week or beginning of next.
AUS - PARKS is second in line at Aetherworks to start fulfilling. Should begin next week.
Asia - PARKS is second in line at VFI to start fulfilling. Should begin shipping to local distribution partners next week.
Canada - Last week, we were notified that our planned Canadian fulfillment partner was not going to provide an adequate level of service to backers. We have identified another fulfillment option and are working on the details of that option now. This change in providers means there will be be a delay in fulfillment, but our goal is to begin fulfillment by the 24th. We are sorry and thanks for your patience!
Forest/Mountain Tokens and Photos
Some of you have noticed that the resource and photo counts in the rulebook do not match the actual number in your game.
In our final pre-production meeting, we decided to even out the number of resource tokens between the two trays as well as increase the number of photos. The extra photos made it into production, but the updated number did not make it into the rulebook. The extra token count made it into the rulebook, but did not make it into the box during the assembly step of production. Both of these changes are purely aesthetic choices, meaning they have no impact on gameplay. All playtesting and development of the game was completed with 15 of each mountain and forest in the game. However, we'll be making additional resource tokens available to those that still want them for the cost of shipping and handling. If you would like to receive a notification when they become available for preorder, please sign up here. For the time being, these will only be available to ship in the US. We are looking into solutions to make this available globally.

We partnered with TYC Creative to put together a How To Play video for PARKS. We think you’ll find that having a friendly raccoon teach you how to play PARKS may be the best, if not most entertaining way to learn.

US Backers
Games arrived safely down in Florida shortly after our last update. They have since moved through customs and arrived at QML’s fulfillment warehouse last week. Our operations person, Matt, has been actively working with QML to find ways to speed up fulfillment and we're happy to say they'll start processing and shipping some orders of PARKS today! Fulfillment is going to be split up into several waves of shipping taking place over the next few weeks. You will receive an email from QML with your tracking number once your shipping label has been created. Don't panic if you do not receive a tracking number immediately. We will let you know when all the US orders have gone out the door. Again, this will be spread over a few weeks.
If you DO get a tracking number and there is an issue like a damaged/missing package or if you need to reroute delivery to a new address, please email [email protected].
CANADA/EU/UK/ASIA/AUS/ROTW Backers
From our last update, we noted that “items” still need to be forwarded from the US to our international partners. These items include additional playmats and playing cards. Demand for playmats increased after the items were allocated to specific regions.
We know not everyone has included either a playmat or playing cards in their order. We have asked for fulfillment to start for orders that do not include these items. It sounds like most of the international hubs will split their fulfillment into multiple waves, similar to QML, but we have not received confirmation from them yet. We will pass on specific start dates as soon as we know them. If any shipments do start, your tracking will be provided by your region's fulfillment center.

Storm Clouds on the Trail

The Bad News: Fullfilment has been pushed back to the week of Sept 16th
We noted and have been tracking the incorrect ship with US bound games. Our original booking listed the CONTI CONQUEST as the vessel with the Kickstarter containers, but the book changed last minute to the CONTI ANNAPURNA. We know how fun it was tracking the ship. We’re so sorry we gave you the wrong ID.
The US ship carrying the PARKS Kickstarter editions is scheduled to arrive in port on Thursday, August 22nd.
QML is now scheduled to start US fulfillment the week of September 16th.
International backers will be impacted as there is some inventory that was on the US Kickstarter ship that will need to be shipped to our international hubs before they begin fulfillment. We will follow up with all fulfillment timelines when we have more information from the rest of these hubs. Our hope is they can fulfill what they have and do a second wave once the additional add-ons arrive.
The Good News: we pushed back the retail launch to October
We pushed back the retail launch date for PARKS to October. This will ensure we are well underway with fulfillment before they are available in retail.
Thank you to everyone for your continued excitement and enthusiasm to get this game! This news is a bummer for us too, and we'll continue to find ways to speed up fulfillment and clean up communication wherever possible.

Boats Arriving in Port! What's Next?

Hello Hikers,
Good News! PARKS is almost here. The last ship containing PARKS games is scheduled to arrive in port tomorrow. We’re on schedule for the majority of our fulfillment partners to start shipping out your games by the end of the month.
Tell Us More About the Trail Ahead
Once games arrive in port, they have to go through customs, just like when any of us travels to another country. This takes about a week unless the games get pulled for detailed inspection. Next, the games get sent to the fulfillment center. Once at the fulfillment center, each warehouse must stage and test ship to make sure the way they pack protects your games. Finally, and most importantly, we need to wait for our turn as other games are being fulfilled this month as well!
All told, we have 12,000 games journeying to 62 countries, via 6 different fulfillment partners. We’re waiting on concrete details from all these companies about their specific timelines. Once we have all those details, we will post another update.
